Beaphar Algolith 250g

Algolith – a feed supplement made from natural seaweed, produced using a special technology to preserve the maximum amount of beneficial substances and increase the absorption of trace elements in the animal’s body. Recommended for dogs, cats, and other furry pets. Contains a high amount of trace elements (e.g. iodine) and vitamins. Positively affects all bodily functions, but is especially used in cases of pigmentation problems (coat, nose, lips, eyes). Enhances natural colour intensity and noticeably improves the condition of skin and coat. Particularly recommended before shows, especially for animals with red coats. Algolith has no contraindications and can be used for pregnant and lactating females as well as young animals during their first coat change.

Composition: seaweed powder

Analytical constituents: ash 22%; moisture 14%; fibre 7.9%; protein 7.7%; sodium 2%; calcium 1.7%; fat 1.5%; magnesium 0.8%; phosphorus 0.1%.

Dosage (per animal per day): if the animal is fed dry food, slightly moisten the supplement before adding it to the feed by mixing it with a spoonful of canned food or vegetable oil. The supplement can also be moistened with kefir.

Small breed dogs: 1 teaspoon (2.4 g), medium breed dogs: 2 teaspoons (4.8 g),

large breed dogs: 1 tablespoon (17 g), cats and rodents larger than a hamster: ½ teaspoon (1.2 g), small rodents: a pinch (0.1 g), birds (per 100 g of feed): 2 pinches (0.2 g).
